AFE intake on 08 328xi
So I heard all the issues and problems about this intake after I ordered it but I installed it a few days ago and have zero problems. It is a very well constructed system although not totally closed but partially closed seems to be put together very nicely. I saw people posting about having problems but I don't have an issue with it and it sounds really good. Just wanted to clear up some of the bad reviews. Not saying it added power but definitely works and sounds good.

Basically you will not have a lot of power until around 5k rpm and then will suddenly surge with power. There is a fix where you can purchase a spacer that raises the maf sensor so it wont get affected and it works pretty well. Of course a bimonthly cleaning happens but other than that i love it
