Very popular exhaust, good value and build quality. Should be a bunch of videos up on YouTube, most will be of N54 motors, but the N55 sounds even better IMO.

i hear it every day -
pair it up with a catless DP - it sound so sweet.
the single turbo have a very distinctive sound.

quaility is very good -
reminds me of the HKS exhaust system for the 335
bolts on very easy.

here's a sound clip with berk catless DP and Vanguard exhaust.

Ya Frankie that sounds nice for ppl into the loud mean aggressive tone. I guess for me the only bmw that sounds right loud would be the M3 the V8 sounds very fitting on that car, with aftermarket or stock exh. I cannot bare the loud start ups and drones with passengers in the car anymore (rather embarassing). But it was sure fun and awesome in my teens and twenty years.

m3 stock imo is not that loud -
but if that's loud for u, then i would
think ur ears are more sensitive. It would
be disappointing to drive with ear plugs.

oh i remember my teenage years -
i believe the Vanguard is a very classy exhaust.
and what it adds is a resonator which if u were an n55
does not have any cats or res on the midpipe.
i feel no drone.
