hi guys wonder if anyone having problems with startup it seems when i put the key in then hold the button the car doesnt start straight away theres a along delay. Then sometimes the car dash lights come on then i have to take the key out and start again.
Can anyone advise? Neetin |

Hmm strange, every so often they do take a few seconds to fire up. Not a regular thing though. It does happen though.

When this happens did you see a curly pig-tail like symbol on the dash?
If so, it's the glow-plugs warming up. Also, no need to hold the button, just push and release. |

You should only get the glowplug if you get into an unlcoked car that has been off overnight...as the car pre heats automatically when unlocked ...in this weather I doubt they need to preheat

This happened to me on a 2 day old car....Put in the key, pressed the button and nothing...no error lights or spark plug lights
Pressed a few times and nothing...Had to take the key out, and put it back in then it worked fine. Not had an issue since then |
