If I'm in the area, maybe I'll swing by during your install. I'm definitely going to get an FMIC before the heat comes. The big question is CP-e or ETS.

Still freaking undecided!

im on ETS side since it is truly no trimming required. i dont wanna start the dremel and keep cutting shit out of my car, hahahaha. and honestly ETS isn't a shaddy FMIC, and people seem loving it..

I think cpe is no trimming too plus it has the extra oil cooler. Have you heard anything negative about it? I only ask since you mention ETS not being 'shady'

i was looking at the CP-e install, they require you to trim off some part in order to fit in the oil cooler perfectly. other wise the CP-e is really good in performance. but for my case, it won't work cuz i dont have OE OC. STETT makes one for my application with OC retrofit fitting and oil filter plate, which will cost me $1200, ouch!

Hi all! No Bimmer yet but I'm in the process of planning a Euro Delivery order.

My name's Martin. I'm def down to meet some other members once I finally get my Bimmer!
I work off Capitol Mall

On a side note, why the hell did I order parts from ECS Tuning? It appears they are ordering them from a BMW dealer, once they get it they will ship to me.. I should have just ordered directly from the dealer. If the parts arrive when they are estimated to it will be 1 week from order to shipment..!

To gouge interest and just figure out how many people from the Sac Area would want the shadow line done, either post on here or shoot me a PM and I'll start keeping tracking. If we get enough interest we will make the trip up and do it.

YEa I'm going with Sonic MS, $110 a hour but they have experience with Rob Becks, they said about a 10 hr install. I might have them do my suspension at the same time too.

Eric if you need help with your FMIC let me know.....I have lots of experience installing them (well I've done 2 )

That goes for anyone else too, if you need help installing a tune, intake, exhaust, FMIC, CP, meth (maybe) let me know. If you come up towards Lincoln, I have access to a hydro lift.

Dan I would go with HPF's FMIC, it's a direct pop on and uses stock couples and connectors. You don't even need to take the bumper off, would be easy for quick dealer disconnects.

I like the idea of changing the stick couplers too since they look restrictive. Once I bust off the oem c clip, is it tough to swap back and forth to stock?

BTW, I thought it would cost more for turbo install. Gets me thinking!

Didn't have as much time as I would have wished to film ~2hrs cause we got a late start and the light was only good for so long. But this was more of a test video before we film the bigger films....

He needs meth first, especially for Infineon. All this talk about meth and LSD, I feel like the DEA/FBI are keeping track of me now.

^ Drool....I want a R8!

Don't forget DIC too. I'm not worried about DEA/FBI. I'm more worried what people think at work as I use those terms way too casually.

Actually, this is what I really need and in this order:
Certain: DIC, FMIC
Possibly: Meth, M3 Bushings, Sways
After Warranty Expiration: Downpipes. Not feeling like swapping those things again unless it's permanent.
