im on ETS side since it is truly no trimming required. i dont wanna start the dremel and keep cutting shit out of my car, hahahaha. and honestly ETS isn't a shaddy FMIC, and people seem loving it..

I think cpe is no trimming too plus it has the extra oil cooler. Have you heard anything negative about it? I only ask since you mention ETS not being 'shady'

i was looking at the CP-e install, they require you to trim off some part in order to fit in the oil cooler perfectly. other wise the CP-e is really good in performance. but for my case, it won't work cuz i dont have OE OC. STETT makes one for my application with OC retrofit fitting and oil filter plate, which will cost me $1200, ouch!

On a side note, why the hell did I order parts from ECS Tuning? It appears they are ordering them from a BMW dealer, once they get it they will ship to me.. I should have just ordered directly from the dealer. If the parts arrive when they are estimated to it will be 1 week from order to shipment..!

hey guys, I am not too active on the board, but in sac as well. Love to do some photo shoots some time. I work at 9th and J so my car is downtown just about every day: AW E90 with Perf Susp and AE exhaust.

To gouge interest and just figure out how many people from the Sac Area would want the shadow line done, either post on here or shoot me a PM and I'll start keeping tracking. If we get enough interest we will make the trip up and do it.

Eric if you need help with your FMIC let me know.....I have lots of experience installing them (well I've done 2 ) That goes for anyone else too, if you need help installing a tune, intake, exhaust, FMIC, CP, meth (maybe) let me know. If you come up towards Lincoln, I have access to a hydro lift.

Dan I would go with HPF's FMIC, it's a direct pop on and uses stock couples and connectors. You don't even need to take the bumper off, would be easy for quick dealer disconnects.

Didn't have as much time as I would have wished to film ~2hrs cause we got a late start and the light was only good for so long. But this was more of a test video before we film the bigger films....

Actually, this is what I really need and in this order: Certain: DIC, FMIC Possibly: Meth, M3 Bushings, Sways After Warranty Expiration: Downpipes. Not feeling like swapping those things again unless it's permanent. |
