im trying to keep my car classy but im not a big fan of the chrome.
my only concern with de-badging it is that im not trying to fake anybody out or anything. I've got a 325 and im fine with it not tryin to be somethin im not hahah any thoughts would be appreciated thanks (sorry for sh*tty blackberry pics) |

I always de badge. S4 (gaudyV8 badges etc.) and current 335 e92. Who cares. Anybody who is concerned will know. I've never understood why car manufacturers need to put all this crap on their cars. I think Mercedes is the worst. Look at the trunk lid on a CLS.brutal.

this. I debadged mine not to fool anyone but just because of the cleaner look and the fact that I too am a chromophobe.

You could always go with some black badging. Thats what I did with my jet black 335i, they have matte black or gloss black I personally went with the matte black and I think it looks pretty damn good
Heres the website I got them from http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/3-Se...duct_info.html |

Yeah, I'd say debadge it. If they did paint around the badges, then get the black of carbon fiber replacement badges and put it back on the spots where the chrome numbers were. Either way it's going to look better than the chrome.

I never stopped to consider these valid points for debadging.. pretty interesting. On that note, how difficult is it to "rebadge" (if, for example I wanted to sell and the new owner wanted everything intact)

I had gotten matte black emblems which I had on for while. Then I got my blacklines then debadged it. So much cleaner

Rebadging is easy as can be. Just have a good picture of where the badges were or make a pattern so you get them placed pretty much where they belong.
