Sorry. Just saw your question. Yeah, I actually have it off a lot of the time. Keep getting limp mode errors. Sometimes I'll go weeks without one, sometimes minutes.

Ed Hansen can't do it. He'll recommend a shop down the street from him. That guy can do it but it'll be around $500 - $600. He recommended I buy the EAS version. Not sure what other shops can do it here in SD. I bought mine for $300 w/o having to give up my stock one so I can go back to it.

LMK if you want to hear my system Bob.

EDIT* - to be clear, I went with the Version 1 mod, not the ACM mod. It's loud enough for me where I think the ACM would be a bit over the top for my tastes. However, the quote from the guy above was for the ACM mod, not the V1 mod. I'm sure the V1 mod will be significantly cheaper.

that's strange, it definitely shouldnt be doing that. Are you sure you hooked everything up rright? Give Terry a call at Burger or shoot him an email and ask for help. Good luck!

Yup. I got the same response. I guess it's off to EAS to do the whole shabbang -- exhaust, pullys, test pipes, and tune. I most definitely wanna check out ur shit. When's the next get together? thanks bro!

For anyone curious about the track quality for chuckwalla - I've been there on my motorcycle and it is an absolute blast. It might be a bit narrow for passing(if that's allowed at this DE), but the course itself is pristine. Also, doing it in the spring keeps you away from the worst of the wind and heat that pops up around May. I highly recommend going if you are on the fence about it.

Any recommended SA's / techs at either Vista or Encinitas? Anyone I should try to avoid?

I normally go to El Cajon to see Natasha and have Nick work on my car, but its kindof far; north county dealers are a bit closer to where I work, so it would be a lot more convenient.

Natasha or this other guy who's name i forget. The service dpt is small and his desk is to the far right, he drives an m3 and you can tell by his look if that helps lol.
