S-Class Coupe? It's called CL.

They are going overboard with all these different models. Can't wait for the S-Class Coupe Gran Coupe 2-door sedan, though.

That is what I was thinking.

Shouldn't this just be the new CL...

Quote directly from Mercedes-Benz USA's facebook page in response to the many comments asking if this is just the CL and/or if this will replace the CL or be produced along side of it:
Quote:
"The S-Class Coupe is a concept so it won't actually replace anything. It's a vehicle that is meant to showcase the leap forward in design and technology that a coupe version of our flagship sedan could represent.

It's important to remember that this is a concept vehicle, so it won't actually replace anything. But what it does is showcase the leap forward in design and technology for our tradition of long, low, wide, supremely luxurious and powerful grand tourers."

They did away with the CLK badging so I can understand why they'd do away with the CL badging. I don't see why it's necessary, but at least it's logical given what it literally is.

Audi A5 with a Nike Whoosh stripe on the sides. The dash kinda looks like a '70's Buick Regal. But they didn't miss anywhere with the chrome.

I'm probably in the minority but I just don't like the designs of the newer Benzes. The last great looking CL was the facelifted C215 imo, then the facelifted C216 after that. The lines in the side of this thing just look weird af to me

Look at those climate control vents. Very useful during the Summer in SoCal.

The tail lights look a little dated. They remind me of the S5/A5 tail lights, actually.
