HPF Stage 2 Clutch Installed

Just had Horse Power Freaks Stage 2 clutch installed over the weekend. Haven't really gotten on it yet (other than a dyno, which HPF said was OK) because I was told to wait 500 miles.

The main reason I bought the HPF over ACT was the engagement point. HPF has just about the same engagement point as stock (maybe a little higher, which is better IMO).

Of course the Stage 2 is stiffer than the stock clutch, but not by much (I don't mind since I used to DD a 2000 Cobra R).

Also, I'd like to thank M-Power Houston for the install and for finding and fixing a boost leak that wasn't throwing any codes!

Great shop that provides excellent service, very fair pricing, and very personable owners.

Sidenote: I have a clutch that can handle 800 rwhp, 650 ft-lbs tq. I guess that means I have to upgrade my turbos, right?

Forgot about this. Haven't had any issues. I started drag racing on it and it's holding up fine.

I'm pushing about 420/490 at the wheels now with my E60 mix.

Perfect, I placed my order today.
How stiff is the clutch? And also how is the engagement?

Clutch is significantly stiffer than stock. Everyone who's gotten in the driver's seat instantly comments on it, but they also say they like it.

Engagement feels identical to stock.

I got the clutch installed on friday and have put around 100 city miles on it so far. The clutch is stiffer than stock but definitely still manageable and not difficult to push at all. The clutch unfortunately chatters like hell unless I give it and hold about 2000 rpms while taking off from a stop. Hopefully this chatter will go away as I put more miles on it. The clutch does not chatter in reverse. Engagement point is similar to stock yet a little more grabby, nothing difficult to drive and once I get into first gear then the rest of shifting is a breeze. Just that damn chatter engaging first D:
