I'm picking up a 56plate 325i E91 Msport in a week or so, I want to drop it a bit as It looks a little high for my liking... Though i'm not sure what setup to go for... I want springs only, but can't decide between Sportlines or Pro Kit.

What would the eibach sport lines be like on standard Msport shocks and would there be enough ground clearance? Also what sort of drop would the pro kit give when fitted with the Supersport lowering perches?

Does anyone have any pics of E91 with the pro kit and lowering perch setup?And also a pic of a Sportline setup on the 18" stock alloys? I want mine to sit so that the arch runs closely around the tyre, 2 things which bother me about the Sportline's are running on the OEM shocks and how much ground clearance I would have?

Also what are people's opinions on changing the stock Msport suspension?

I changed to the prokit and I like the ride quality.

The drop on the front was about 30mm and 10mm on the back, the standard M sport springs looked too high at the front for me, so the drop was perfect.

You can't get the sportlines for the 335i, but from the pictures I've seen the cars looked slammed and I hear the ride quality is harsh.

The 18's won't fill the arches as well as 19's.
I have put the 18's with RFTs back on for winter and find the ride quite hard due to the higher pressure required in the 18" tyres over the 19's.

This one on 19"s with 12mm spacers all round - perfect drop for me with a comfy ride

I really like the look in that 1st pic
How would this effect the ride? I'd love to do it on mine but would be worried it would be bad on run flats?

I haven't really noticed any difference in ride quality on the 19"s.
The 18" ride is a little bit firmer because of the rock hard tyre pressure required in the 18"s.

Is the e92 msport lower than an msport e91 standard?

The ride is poor due to RFT tyres having stiffer side walls, not to do with tyre pressures.

18" non rfts will ride better than 19" non rfts due to having a higher profile side wall which gives more/ absorbs better.

What shocks are people using? I wouldn't have thought standard shocks would last too long with such a height drop.

I appreciate this, but my ride is stiffer on the 18"s than the 19"s and both are RFTs.

The only thing I can put this down to is when I fitted my 18"s on for the winter after they were painted, I thought they felt better than the 19"s until I checked the tyre pressures.
The company I used pumped them up to the rating on the inside of the door for the Y rated 18" tyres. When I pumped them up to the W rated tyre pressure which was about IIRC 10 psi more, they felt like driving around on concrete tyres.
