Oil splashing on engine

Hello Guys,

I was wondering if I can get some help with some oil leaks. I know for one I have a bad oil filter gasket. I am going to change that on Saturday. I cant pin point how oil is splashing on to the manifold and some drops on the fuel rail. Any thoughts?

Can the pressure switch be spitting out oil?

Looks to me like it is leaking from your cap and getting blown backwards by moving air in the engine bay onto your manifold.

Who took the hatchet to the oil filter cap? Get a new one. That one has been brutalized. Looks like it's been over torqued and has cracks in it.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

That my friend was my local stealership. I approached them about the beat up cap and the SA said the tool slipped causing minor scratches and assured me it would not cause any harm. BS. This was 2 weeks ago by the way.

I did orders a new cap a couple days ago just waiting for it to arrive.
