yeah.. i've been looking through it but haven't had much luck.

i actually did find abschaltkriterium ... but it doesn't look to be the pinch protection.

i'm pretty sure it's somewhere in CAS.. and i have a feeling it will start with FH_ most of these seem to involve the windows.

i found one command that is FH_SICHERHEITSFAHRZEUG which translates to vehicle safety... but have no idea whether it is referring to the pinch protection or not.

if there's any one on here that knows.. please let me know.. thanks !

I know TUERAUG_STOP_MAUT in FRM allows the windows to continue rolling up even while opening the door. Curious if it also codes for the pinch protection.

In either case, since this option is in FRM/NFRM I assume the option you want is in there as well. A step in the right direction at least.

thanks... i tried changing 5 different settings but the pinch protection was still active. i've run out of ideas.

hopefully someone else more knowledgeable will figure it out.

i'm really hoping to get this done. as a convertible owner the pinch protection almost always kicks in when the roof is closed and it's extremely annoying.

If it kicks in when the window is closing because it is hitting the closed convertible roof and lowering again--- then shouldn't you do an adaptation reset on your window so it knows where the 'top' and 'bottom' points are instead of removing the pinch protection?

it's not when the window hits the roof that triggers it... it's when the rear window slides up and hits the front window. it's a common problem on the convertible, thanks for your suggestion though.
