Driving in Europe - Lights

I have LCI halogen Headlights.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that these can be switched from RHD to LHD for driving in Europe.. Is this true?

Otherwise, do I need to buy some silly stick on deflectors?

There have been several threads on this, try the search function. I am not trying to be unhelpful but my e92 has a lever to do this but I have a vague recollection that the e90 might not.

Only xenon lights have a change-over lever, with halogens you're stuck with cut-off masks.

My car has Adaptive Xenon's (where beam turns with the steering) and there is no switch, I have to buy stickers every year

With adaptive xenons you switch the headlamps on manually (as opposed to position "A") and not only does this prevent the beam following the steering it also flattens the beam allowing you to drive on either side of the road, i.e. it provides a LHD and RHD mask.

You can't. Halogens have the thumbwheel because height adjustment is only manual, xenons are automatic so you cannot do this. If you have non-adaptive xenons without the changeover lever you will have to use masks or take your chances.
