Terrible, op. The dealer I go to takes pictures of the car before and after along with cameras in the lot entrance to prevent disputes. I remember when the dealer cracked my shifter trim in the 135i previously, they admitted fault put me in a 5 series loaner and had the car back to me a few days later.

Sucks to see BMW cutting corners like that, although it could just be isolated to BMW of Manhattan.

fwiw Pace BMW always took good care of me.

Friend of mine took his M3 for service. Manhattan BMW returned his car with his headliner hanging. Took him several visits to have it fixed. They couldn't fix it properly, so he decided to bring his car to Bayside BMW.

LOL, I have been doing research on all BMW Dealers in 5 boroughs and all dealers have good & bad reviews, some people say Bayside is bad, some people say manhattan is bad, some people say brooklyn is bad etc etc. and my personal belief is that it all depend what SA you deal with.

I agree! BMW of Manhattan is total trash. I regret buying my car there.

My ex-service manager ZACH GESSEY, biggest scum bag in the world. His guys scratched my car, and all he said was "your car is never in any good condition anyways", I had an argument with him and he called back and told me I was banned from the dealership. I called my Sales Manager and told him that the two 750s that we were gonna buy is not gonna happen. We ended up buying it over at Bay Ridge.

Anyways, on the other hand, I never really had an issue with Jia Ho. Seemed like a pretty cool dude.

Worst BMW service I have ever been too. Brought my car in for simple fix and got it back with 400$ GPS missing and they said its not our problem. Who thought BMW would be okay with petty theft.

Never go there!!

I took my car there to have my water pump replaced , they kept the car for 3 days, I picked it up no problem then 5 days later my SES light came on. I took it there again and told them I had it there 5 days ago , the SA was oh ok ill take a look at it and kept it there for another 3 day then calls me and tells me I can come and pick it up but dose not tell me what the problem was. When I went to pick it up I looked at the bill and see they replaced the thermostat and that was the reason I had to go there twice, I might be wrong but I think that should of been changed when the water pump was replaced. But they just waned me to go there again and pay twice for the 50$ deductible cuz they didn't even send me a survey I usually get for the second visit.

I remember someone saying that BMW of Manhattan doesn't give a shit about their clients since they get a lot of people going there anyways, I guess it's true. Their horrible service really needs to be reported to BMWNA.

Thumbs up

Did you file a Police report ?? If not do so ASAP for petit larceny, I'm sure the dealer wouldn't like that.

Thumbs up

I would suggest go back to the dealer, then call 911 and say your car was involved in an accident at the dealer and you need a report filed for insurance purposes.

It's true. I took my M3 there, and my SA told me that "it's not the most expensive car, I don't understand why you are freaking out about it".

On the other hand, I've been taking my car to Bay Ridge (Life Quality), there's been goods and bads about this place, but my current SA is Dan Wallace Jr. He's pretty awesome so far, no complains yet. Their techs are probably not the best, but typical maintenance so far, it's been a
