Talking Car sketches v2.0

Made an old thread with a buncha sketches. Here's two new ones.

One's a BMW concept. Probably a Z9 if it were to ever grace production. A front-engine, rear-wheel supercar.
-I condensed BMW's new design language and also took some cues from GINA and the M1 Hommage. I tried to give it a muscular yet athletic look...a German musclecar almost. I wish I could go back and change the lighting on the hood, because the two outer sculpted surfaces look like black stripes instead. The rear is more of a wreck than anything. I've noticed BMW's designs have taken a subtle Asian approach and tried to use that best here. Unfortunately it looks busy here, mainly due to the tailpipes. What you can't see, because the profile sketch got cropped out, is that the tail is incorporated into a drastic ducktail spoiler.

Second one's a random guess as to what a new-gen S2000 would be. Not finished.

I'll probably update this one much more frequently cuz I'm drawing new shit everyday. Cubicle job - loads of time haha.

*I want to photoshop these and make them legit illustrations, but I don't have PS on me at the moment...

[Edit]: Added more. 'X2' and 'Z10'.

I sketch cars non-stop.^

I started about three years ago. Began with getting my lines down. Worked on perspective. And only until somewhat recently have I gotten lighting somewhat down (I never knew how important lighting is).

Here's s'more:

Top: BMW Z...10?
-Just realized the grilles are way too big. Foglights also look somewhat out of place where they are. This one just looks kinda funky, but there's something about the lower fascia I like. Not finished. I'll prob knock it out tomorrow.

Bottom: X2.
-As if BMW needs another SAV. Anyways, this one's a little extreme. Too much frontal surface area, but I'm happy with the rest. Tried to implement BMW's new shadow hoffmeister kink, but I'm not sure if it helps or just makes the side too busy. Maybe if it was toned down. I'm trying to find a way to build upon the new styling of BMW's front bumpers, with the protrusions that form the base of the headlights. It didn't turn out as I hoped, but I tried to make it wrap around the foglight housing and flow into the upper part of the lower swage line.

I wish the scans weren't so noisy.

hey, is this ur drawing of a new Honda MR supercar? It looks REALLY nice. I love it. It resembles the 2003 Acura HSC concept and look a bit like a Ferrari. Amazing!

This is my version ! I think we have similar taste and style

Haha yeah, and thanks.

I tried to keep it conservative, typical for Honda. I just wanted it to look like a prototypical modern-day sports car. Hard character line, gaping brake ducts, etc. You're good with MS paint. Good job with that Honda. You have to be extremely patient with it unless you have a pad (and even then, I'd prefer photoshop). My problem with MS paint is that lighting is damn near impossible to do unless you make a million custon colors lol.

Wow man awesome drawings!

Considering a lot of the designs today that automakers are coming up with, they could use someone like you. I particularly like the "Z9" rear perspective drawing: its aggressive and sexy. Nice work.

I really like the Z9 idea. Even the rear lights remind me slightly of the CS Concept's design language. Good work.

Yep, all in pencil. I made a copy of em at work so the graphite wouldn't smear. I need to improve my rear design though :/
