I was not aware there was a V1 or V2. What's the difference? All I know is it works on the regular hifi system not logic7 or the other systems. The power cable uses a single blade connector to plug into the factory distro block.

Yeah sounds like the V1 setup.. I have L7 and Technic verified the difference a few months ago for me, as he does have more than one technic harness.. Thanks tho, GLWS..!

I never tried them without the extended bolts that came with them. I'm not one to say how many threads engaged would be needed to be safe.
