Tire repair near Beltsville/Laurel/College Park?
Got two tires with leaks, where do I take them? Need someone who can patch if necessary and is OK with handling 19" wheels/low profile tires. I couldn't make it to Curry's over the weekend and don't want to be driving on Blizzaks another week since temps are consistently in the 90s here.
Thanks! |

I have a plug kit, I problem is I suspect it is those @#$% TPMS sensors and the tire machine at my buddy's shop isn't up to the task (nor are my skills using one to be fair.)
I dropped one wheel/tire off at Goodyear in Rockville as the one in Sterling has been OK in the past; all the local places I called said they weren't comfortable dismounting 275/35R19s and I appreciated their honesty. They all suggested I go to House of Dubs in Laurel but that name really doesn't fill me with confidence... hope I didn't screw up. |

well it's irrelevant... Goodyear tanked it and it's a cut on the inside right on the corner, unrepairable, also there's an impact break on the inside sidewall that isn't leaking yet. seeing as the RR is leaking as well, I just replaced the LF and the RF has a plug in it in giving up and mounting 245/45-17s on the 157s I bought for winter wheels when I still had factory tires on the car. just can't deal with 19s with the roads around here.
