door comes open on parcelforce van ?

Well where do I start ,expecting my carbon bits from abroad and I ring Parcelforce as they left delivery card and did not turn up next day as promised on card and guess what , they tell me that the side door on there van had a fault and 1 parcel have fallen out on route and yes it was mine , only got £400 of carbon bits in for my car .

Can you believe this?

Manager is going to call me Tomorrow what should I demand from him Guys?

A replacement PLUS free lifetime parcel service anywhere. I'm now wondering where my parcel is; it's only a week late on its second trip.

Well I tell you mate I am not impressed, I have been driving vans for over 25 years as I am a builder and I have never had a door come open and surely if it did you would notice and its really wierd that my parcel was the only one that was lost .

Who is the customer here? Is it not the company you have bought the carbon bits from who is the customer ie. using Parcelforces services?

I would suggest that you consider rejecting the parcel as the goods are damaged and report this to your seller, who then has to take the matter up with Parcelforce as their customer. That would be my understanding of the situation tbh.

In the meantime your seller will have to despatch further/replacement goods.

Edit: Hopefully your seller will have increased the standard insurance cover for damage?

the parcel has not been found could be anywhere , I have contacted the seller and they are talking to EMS the courier in China who are then going to be talking to Parcel force , trust me I will be getting replacemants otherwise my credit card company will be notified. just giving the companys a chance to sort this out first.

My thoughts as well. It's a bit odd that the parcel only fell 'off the back of the lorry' after they had failed to deliver it.

Odd as well that this was the only one that fell out.

personally I think the driver has chucked it out of the van as he tried to deliver it at 3.55pm and he would be back on his way home or to parcelforce ,I just think he thought fuck it I can't be arsed to go back tomorrow , but I tell you his head will roll because I won't let it go , just for the record I paid extra for the insurance I always do as just don't trust the twats.

Well Parcelforce did not call me Today so I rang them at 4pm and the manager had gone home so they obviously couldn't give a toss ,I have demanded that another higher up the ladder manager calls me in the morning or I am taking legal advise ,the seller has told me that they will refund/or replace the items as soon as they have confirmation that the parcel has been lost .

If Conan was here, and believe me - he is in spirit, he would say...

Crush my enemies,
See them driven before me,
Hear the lamentations of the women!

I would probably take his advice, it worked out alright in the end.

Good to hear, Mikey. Hopefully the company can recoup the cost from the shipping company so prices don't go up on account of the "mishap".
