No Problem.

I'm at Pod this weekend helping a friend out, let me know if your about.

Cheers,

I did a total of 880 miles on my travels since Thursday.

Left the far side of Aberdeen city centre at rush hour traffic on Friday.

It is mostly dual carriageway down to Dundee where you have to make your way across Dundee too. A little diversion through another town to pick up my wee one then a drive down to Stoke-on-Trent.

A few short trips into town for things and the cinema.

Following morning a 18 mile but 45min journey to Alton Towers. All built up areas with lots of stop starting.

Went to Blackpool Friday evening and left there on Sunday.

Dropped my wee one back off before the drive back up to Aberdeen.

In total 880 miles where about 500 would have been motorway and the rest A roads or built up areas.

The cruise was set at motorway speeds all the way and I had the odd little blast.

Averaged 35MPG over the 880 miles which is pretty good in my opinion.

I'll meet you half way boys... 12.7 @ 111mph. Phil's also correct - Boz has managed a 13.0 from a JB4 335I..
I know of an auto N54 135i with software and secondary cat delete that has done a mid 12 at 111mph. I dare say there would be a fair few tune-only 335is that would easily be in the 12's if there was more people that ran them and someone who was an experienced 1/4er. Just look at the times that most tuned 335ds get when run there. They get nowhere near Carlos' times of low 13's.. But most are just beginners or can't drive/launch.

Anyway, it's the BMW Show @ Pod in just under a month guys.. So who's off?

Be good to see the M3 run Carlos. I'll have a duel or 2 with you if ya want..?

Oh and OP .. They are bonkers figures for a modded N54..
I would have to be going steady on the motorway to get that from a lighter N55..

Get about 220 miles on a full tank....always wait till the needle is completely to the left...then fill up and reset the odo....

But I do mostly town/ London driving...

500-600 a week, mostly motorway, but at least once a week going across London from Ashford to Annerley and back.

29.7 week in week out pretty consistently.

Active cruise on the motorway which burns fuel more than you, as it can't anticipate what is going to happen in front.

What I do notice about the 335i is that at 85 its not that much more thirsty than at 65. 8-10mpg maybe.

Diesels I have had (118d and C250) there is a massive difference in consumption between 65 and 85, more like a 20mpg difference.

35mpg not bad. I was on 32mpg for a set of longish trips. Once you do a few cold town drives that quickly drops though. Average between 27-30mpg generally. Always over 300 miles per tank though.
