WAX/Sealant for Jet Black E90

Hi,

I have been using Zaino for years... I am happy but wanted to try something new... I do not use orbital/machine thing... I always use hands in apply clay/wax/seal.

What wax/sealant product do you recommend??? that is easy to apply with best result...

I am planning to wash/dry/clay/wash/dry/ apply new stuff (wax/sealant).

I am planning to spend less than $100.

thanks

For a sealant I have been using blackfire wet diamond. For wax during the summer months I really like Dodo Juice Supernatural.

nattys blue works well
collinite 845
p21s 100% carnuba paste
if you want to wax biweekly, pinnacle souveran looks killer

if you want to seal it first, then glaze then carnuba for incredible depth, get Wet Glaze II. Its a true glaze that wont strip previous protection according to the bottle! I believe its VERY similar to the old Danase Wet Glaze that was ever so popular a few years back (company shut down)

BFWD for a sealant and some nattys blue or Blue Velvet will do the trick

Menzerna Power Lock followed by (after at least 24 hrs.) a coat or six of Lusso Oro, looks brilliant on my jet black car. I do usually macine polish first though.

The Machine polish before would be the key to the look. 6 coats of Lusso Oro on top of the sealant, that's some significant effort there, not to mention cost.

BFWD - Sealant
CG 50/50 - Wax

Very good combo. Get clarity, shine, and depth.

For a sealant I have been using blackfire wet diamond. During the summer months I first put down a good coat of blackfire and then put the Dodo Juice purple haze ontop ! looks really good when it's done. My BMW is black sapphire.

How are you liking the Jet Black and how did the BFWD work out?
I have BFWD and two full "Maintenance" kits of PERMA PLATE I got from my dealer from my M3. I'm not sure if this Perma Plate is a better sealant than the BFWD or if it is even the full product.
Anyway, I just got the Jet Black and reading some posts on how soft it is.
I plan on using BFWD followed by at least 3 coats of P21S

I really like jet black! I prefer it better than metallic black, my wife car is black sapphire metallic but i prefer the jtblack. This thing is like mirror after appliying bfwd and bf midnight sun wax.

You are correct, jet black is soft, it is very hard to avoid swirls

Klasse AIO followed by P21S will look great and require just a few hours.

The Klasse AIO will clean the paint, prep the surface for wax, and leave a layer of long-lasting protection. The P21S goes on and comes of very quickly. The P21S doesn't last for more than a few months but since it looks great and is so easy to throw on another coat, who cares?

I've been using this exact combo for a while. While I would not mind spending three times as much, or spending more of my time, I really like the results that I'm getting with these basic products.

Also, after a wash and dry, Dino Juice Red Mist is nice between coats of wax.

Thanks for the info.
I'll buy the Klasse AIO then. Tried BFWD and felt it just didn't last long.
Love P21S for easy on, easy off, although I'm off the old school and just feel like you must let it dry to full haze to get benefit. Directions say don't do that. Oh well.

Will upload pics when the car comes back from paint correction and I apply the sealant and P21S

COBB tune will go on then too
