if you want to pool together money, it can be cheap. For like 2 hours I can get you one of my girls for $75, discounted for a BMW meet. I can get you 2 girls

so

$150 for the 2 girls

Not so bad if you can get a few people to join in. We'd just have to meet up in late afternoon before gets dark and somewhere cool to snap pics.

but regardless of girls or not I just want a meet on the 20th lol. I can't go to the show on the 21st and its been awhile since we had a meet.

we have to get more organized with meets. Def lets get this rolling for the 20th but this doesn't have to be it. We can do friday night dinner meets, and other times. Gotta build that tight niche that like some other lame forums have lol.

For sure man...I'm def in. We have had a few meets already, but many didn't show.

If you want my sched...I am only off fridays and sundays...other than that I'm either at school or work.

Mon, Tues, Wed nights also work for me!

I'm in Boston a lot on monday and wed night in kenmore square so always done for dinner and chilling those nights.

In fact I'll be at Bertuccis tonight at like 7ish in kenmore square eating dinner before I have to go to a meeting at 9.

hey everyone.. though i don't drive a bimmer i do know branabolic (sup buddy) and wouldn't mind coming down in my FX if you want some asian flavor lol.. or just to snap some pics.. i'm free the 20th as well..

as far as locations go.. are there any multi-level garages with a nice view? or we could go over to the cambridge side and shoot from the point of view.. get in the skyline of boston.. i know of two spots on the cambridge side.. one with a view of boston and the white bridge.. the second right underneath the white bridge over in charlestown.. both really hott areas for a dusk/night shoot

so I'll snap pics, but rather do this in the day. We can meet south shore plaza. Done pics there plus can grab food. Open to suggestions.

nice.. how is that going for you? I actually love photography and will be investing in an SLR soon.. i was torn between the entry level Nikon D80 and Cannon XSi.. any suggestions? I know the differences between the two are minimal and find myself leaning towards the Nikon.. would like to hear from someone with first-hand experience though

as far as the meet goes.. meeting anywhere near boston is fine.. but i think we could make some nice shots over in charlestown right under the bridge.. i have the location saved in my GPS i;ll pull it up tonight or tomorrow and get a google maps image of it if i can so you can check it out

I have a Olympus dslr e510, its a really good mid-range. I've just reached "pro status" this summer. Before I just found models and photographers but now I'm actually getting hire for shoots also these days.

So a mid range olympusis def a good start. Check out the photography forum here btw.

The Nikon D80 is great but for the price and being a strater I'd avoid it.

My next camera in a year or 2 will be a higher series Nikon w/ dif lense.

A nice camera is helpful, for sure but even with my smaller cam an old canon powershot, I can take some great shots. Its all in the eye

i agree. it is all in the eye.

i found a D80 for $620 shipped with lens.. which i believe is a great deal.. but i agree for a starter spending over 700 for an SLR is too much
