Advans In-Motion: Labor Day Weekend on Mulholland Hwy
I was missing my motorcycle over labor day weekend, which I sold a few years ago, so I decided to go for a drive on one of my favorite SoCal roads that I used to ride all the time.
Photos purchased from RockStorePhotos.com who setup shop there every weekend hoping suckers like me are love with their ride enough to pay for some pics. I made 5 passes on The Snake and these 3 were the best. Definitely worth it to capture the memory; it was a beautiful day and this car/beast is so much fun to drive. PS - Michelin Pilot Super Sports are amazing! Dramatic performance increase over the Hankook V12's I used to have. Q: Where is Mulholland Hwy? A: Google Maps If you live in Southern California and you're a car enthusiast, you need to drive this road. "The Snake" is by far the best part of Mulholland Hwy... My old toy...

Car looks great, pictures not so much.
Didn't some other guy here have this company take pictures on this road? No offense, but those pics should be free. Not a single one is focused. Can't believe this company is in business. |

Holly shit, you're Ben Affleck . Busted .
On a serious note, I wish we had roads like this in my country. |

There was another guy on here a few weeks back who also had his picture taken on this road. Same problem: great car, but terrible quality photos.
It does clearly say on RockStorePhotos that the quality of his photos can greatly vary. |

It's a Vorsteiner rep from LTBMW. Here's some more pics in case you're interested. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...2#post12686782 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=588288 (pics on page 2) I know, I wish I hadn't b/c that thing was so much fun. Just too much crazy traffic and terrible drivers in LA. Quote:

I'm actually glad to hear that you guys aren't digging on the pictures either. I was concerned that I was being overly critical when I saw them. For me they were worth it just to capture the day, but they sure could have been a whole lot better. Where's 1013mm when you need him?

If it makes you feel better OP, I emailed rockstorephotos and told them they're terrible and should stop charging for badly unfocused shots.

Dude your car looks fantastic, despite (as others have said) the average quality of the photos, at least compared to some of the high-grade ones we see on the forums. Next time I have free time in LA it's a must for me. Just gotta watch out for the Chippies...
