ER Charge pipe- Noise

Recently installed er charge pipe For my n55.. When Im accelerating , more if im getting on the gas, i hear like a whinning noise from engine. Took it off and re installed make sure nothing lose, but still hear same noise. Does anyone know if this is normal? Or have had this issue ?.. Almost the sound like what a supercharger nose when accelerating ..

Did you install an intake as well?

I have never hear of this issue before. All seals and clamps are tight? If you have the time try re-installing the stock pipe, but the charge pipe itself can't really make any noise as its just a pipe.

Thanks... Have stock intake right now, but I'm going to be installing a bms intake today .. Gonna take off pipe again and re install it. Either way definitely feel a difference..

Mine does too...you should be just fine. The CP holds (from what I've heard) up to 800mph winds/airflow that the intake absorbs. Modbargins as an intake adapter that funnels this air into a vortex which supposidly adds a few horses and reduces the Nerf ball sound, but I've found on the forums that they are not worth the pricetag at $350...

I like the sound

He just installed it incorrectly..

Hard to say, you sure it's not just your turbo spooling

I think it had to do with the stock intake. I installed bms intake last night and the noise is gone. Now all hear is the turbo spool and BOV.

Installed the bms intake last night. What a difference. It could have been. Now with the intake all I hear is the bov spool up and blow off 😍

I know that there are a ton of people who think that the intake makes the car sound like a cheaper car (wrx, evo, SRT-4, etc) but man I like that sound.
