"MUST HAVE" Coding Features

Hey everyone,

I have a 2008 BMW 335i e92 and I have coded a few features already into my car that I found appealing, but was hoping to get some input in regards to what you think is a "MUST HAVE" feature available through coding

so far I have done the following:

1. key fob auto eject
2. digital speedomoter
3. fold mirrors with key fob
4. close windos and sunroof with key fob
5. door dong disable
6. seat belt chime disable

Let me know what you guys think I should include on my "TO DO LIST"

As cool as that sounds, someone was saying on another bmw coding forum that you need both the newer TPMS system AND newer iDrive to do that, if it is even retrofittable to pre lci cars.

But yeah the display on the newer cars is very cool, tire pressure and temp at each corner.

BFD (Brake Force Distribution) Lights on with regular breaking – Very bright break lights

Basically the "secondary or emergency" lights on your taillights come on.

Plays DVDs while the vehicle is in motion.
Usually a safety feature, but it is nice to have passengers watch movies during long drives.

Sorry to thread jack but could you explain this more? I have an LCI with iDrive and this sounds really cool to have. Can I enable this (and how)?

The turn signal will flash when you have your turn signal on, but when it's off the yellow bulb will be off instead of on. I'm not sure when he means by side marker.

Is it referring to the yellow part beside the angle eyes ie headlight, or those two lights on the front fenders?

Feature: Digital speed - Use it constantly

Feature: Driver Seatbelt Gong - Thank god for this feature!!

Feature: Unlock doors on key eject / engine power off - Very handy with C/A.

Feature: Fold mirrors with fob - Fun to show off with but little real benefit and don't use it when it's icy out. Entertained my Batman-crazy son when I talk to the fob and say "SHIELDS!" and the mirrors fold in. ha.

Feature: AE as DRL - Yup, and ordered Mtec V3 so maybe I'll actually be able to SEE them...!

Feature: Fogs with high beams allowed (fogs w flash is seperate) - I like.

Feature: Fogs with welcome + Fade - Very nice in the dark. I did the rear ones too. Should have come like that as original.

Feature: Hazard double blink - Another fun show-off item. Used it a few times for an accident (not mine) and passing emergency cars and whatever. Just fun because it's different.

Feature: Wipers finish their job. - Would remove this if I felt like bothering. Don't get any benefit from it whatsoever.

Feature: Coded 4 blinks (from 3 blinks) for turn signal - MUuuuch better. Perfect number of blinks for me to actually perform a lane change.

I was wondering what to edit in order to get my angle eyes and fog lights to be on at the same time, but my low beams off. (ie have the circular rings light up + fogs)

**I'm assuming the "low beams" are the inside of the outter angle eye :s

I understand nothing with angel eyes.. And certainly many others too..
Is there a schema or something like that anywhere? (Not found)
