Please act on this by contacting this MP Jim Karygiannis and your local MP.

Garage List
If I understand this correctly, it is for vehicles manufactured on or after January 1 2010.

Looks like I will hold onto my 335 for a VERY LONG TIME!

Don't get it. It had first reading in January 2009. What about next ones? Couldn't find any dates. Anyone knows senate session policies better than I do? =)

I don't really understand these laws .... but if they're all so concerned about speed, why not just limit to 100 kph?

Or better yet - why not just limit ALL driving to 40 kph on ALL roads and highways. wouldn't that be the safest?

woah ... ticketing someone based on GPS! Never thought of that one.

Do they ever ticket on the 407 based on time and entry and exit point?

OH NO!

I am buying the (335xi) in July next year and I am doing European Delivery! I need to be able to drive 250 km/h in Germany! This would really suck!

Don't think they do that on the 407, but I know they used to do that on some toll highways in the U.S. (I-90 in NY state for example).

Such an easy cash grab don't you think?

But then maybe less people would pay to use the 407 - so in the end they may actually lose money!

Ha - just goes to show that speeding tickets are purely a cash grab, not about safety!

Wouldn't the cops be fighting against this - well at least Ontario police? Reduces the revenue they are making on the 50+ rule..well I'm assuming a lot of the 50+ busts are on highways.
