If I understand this correctly, it is for vehicles manufactured on or after January 1 2010.
Looks like I will hold onto my 335 for a VERY LONG TIME!

Don't get it. It had first reading in January 2009. What about next ones? Couldn't find any dates. Anyone knows senate session policies better than I do? =)

I don't really understand these laws .... but if they're all so concerned about speed, why not just limit to 100 kph?
Or better yet - why not just limit ALL driving to 40 kph on ALL roads and highways. wouldn't that be the safest? -sarcasm |

OH NO!
I am buying the (335xi) in July next year and I am doing European Delivery! I need to be able to drive 250 km/h in Germany! This would really suck! |

Don't think they do that on the 407, but I know they used to do that on some toll highways in the U.S. (I-90 in NY state for example).

But then maybe less people would pay to use the 407 - so in the end they may actually lose money! Ha - just goes to show that speeding tickets are purely a cash grab, not about safety! |

Wouldn't the cops be fighting against this - well at least Ontario police? Reduces the revenue they are making on the 50+ rule..well I'm assuming a lot of the 50+ busts are on highways.
