ticking/knocking? when letting off clutch slowly

maybe i'm not timing my release correctly but sometimes i hear a ticking/knocking sound when letting off the clutch to move the car.

my current method of reving and holding at 800-900rpm and slowly letting the clutch out to move the car works sometimes however when i'm at the drive thru advancing the car, i usually let the clutch do the job without giving extra gas, this is where it's most apparent.

are there any adjustments that i can make to the clutch to see if this is something fixable or to just rule it out as user error?

Sounds like you're hearing the dual mass flywheel.
