Missing headlight cover clip

Hi,

Found out that I was missing the light cover of the drivers side headlight when I upgraded my bulbs to Osram Nightbreakers. Not only am I missing the cover but also the metal silver clip that holds the back cover in place.

I can easily get a replacement cover from my local dealer but they said that the clip is part of the headlight so can't be ordered on its own.

Has anyone got a spare clip or know where I can get one?

Cheers
Eddy

Great idea Makkan.

I've now taken a photo of what I'm looking for. Hopefully someone out there can help me.

The silver clip is intact for the passenger side light.

I'm looking for a one to go on the drivers side headlight as this is the one I'm missing.

Couldn't you have a go at making one yourself? It looks just like a piece of wire to me. Maybe buy a bit of thick gauge tensile wire and use the one you have as a template?

Seems crazy to have to replace an entire headlamp just for a clip!

Well I'm still missing the rear cover and that costs about £10 from a dealer so figured I'll get a light as a spare anyway. If anyone can do a complete headlight for a good price I'll be interested.
