My poor E46.. thought id share :x

Good morning everyone,

I thought Id share the accident I have been through last week.. while coming back from the north coast to cairo on speed around 200 KMPH I bumped into a hole in the ground.. 2 lanes wide didn't see it as i was driving at night and high beams were not even on ><.. the result as below.. thank god the car didn't flip thank god for bmws..

lol. egyptian highways. I was driving from alex to cairo to pick up my father in law and some guy in a truck fell asleep or something hopped the median and came driving into oncoming traffic for like 8 seconds before he finally pulled to the side without hitting anyone. Our driver had to pull over and smoke to let the shivers pass. Never know what your gonna see. Scary roads. Glad everything is ok.

Yes and he comes on here expecting us to feel sorry for him because he damaged his car. I think he got what he deserved honestly.

Damaging a BMW is pure stupidness anyway.. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, but just to warn everyone.. high speeds are pointless even if its a new highway.. even if the road is totally empty.., thank you guys for your comments.

So driving at 200kph on highway at night where roads can be bad is not a good idea... i'll try to remember...

Good luck with fixing it in all seriousness, I can imagine it will be a big bill.

so he was doing 125mph. What is the limit on that road?

Im sure if this happened on the autobahn, the speed he was going wouldnt be a problem for people.
