Damn you love Dinan huh? I was gonna do the Dinan tune but it was like 2000-3000 I think? but the numbers r nice instead of using a piggyback tho. Might invest in that but I like how my piggyback has autotune that tunes to cold weathers and 93 octane,dp and exhaust. putting out about 15-16 psi right now. I guess thats roughly 420 430 crank hp? thinking of a FMIC but dont know which to go with. any ideas Mr.Dinan guy?

Yup the price sounds about right with Dinan, and the power out put is what it is with piggybacks. I am not all about HP though, just conservative about warranty and getting the best under that warranty.

If my goal was HP then I could have taken all that Dinan money I spent and built myself a 10sec 335i long time ago before I got a 335is. Thats not my goal though.

Think about it, the average person with a piggyback is not going to be riding around daily on 15-16 psi of boost. If you did you would be digging deep into your pockets for gas money and more wear and tear on the turbos

So the way I look at it is if we were to meet on the road, you cant change maps while driving, so on a roll I will eat you alive all day long unless you decide to stop the car put it in the desired map then track me down for another roll.

BTW the BMW DME automatically adjusts performance based on temps also per octane levels. Dinan tune is dependant on the DME logic to make the proper changes and does not manipulate it.

Ofcourse 15-16psi is on a cold day. I boost normaly at 13psi. also we cna switch map in a flick of a buttin. from map 1-7 takes me not even 5 seconds to switch from autotune map to full race map. if i know im gonna race that night i put in race gas n press the volume buttin down 1 time and i go into map 7 which is full race map. I have it all set-up ofcourse with yours, your all ready everyday all day haha. I gotta switch for driving normaly or racing. ofcourse i dont get 26mpg anymore. all these mods has put my car down to 17mpg now :/ but yeah your right. true performance is thru Dinan

And also your right. Im not trying to do a 10sec 335i either haha. Just want a good decent ammount of power. no R&B turbo upgrade or Meth Addictions. normal bolt-ons, if you notice my sig, im already saving up for my next car haha. The stuff they make for Aston cost up to atleast 13k from Mansory lols.

DCT, 7 Speeds (gas saver), Launch Control, BMW PPK, Bigger OC, M-Sport package, 19" wheels (for me), better sound system.

I got everything you got except the sound system lols. I didn't really need it, but that launch control becomes some what useless after you add more power to the 335is. that launch control is build perfectly for the stock 320 and 330. and become 370 tq for 7 seconds after launch control. Now that I got 400 something, it spins my whole 1st gear before it leaves the line. which means its time for some Mickey Thompsons. But the car stock will dump it at 5k drops down to 3-4k and than goes. thats how I ran 13.1 stock with RFT, could've been better if cold days and drag radials.

The whole point of launch control is it is suppose to control the spinning - convert to traction.

You will have to wait for confirmation from flash tunes if it is really a waist or not. It could be your tune on what and how its communicating with the DME.

That's what's dumb about lc on this car. The wheels spin uncontrollably when you use it. Completely opposite of what it is supposed to do. I can leave 40 yards of thick rubber tracks on lc. I don't really get why it's so useless....BMW should take a page out of the gtr book.

Point understood, but we need confirmation from flash tunes if this issue exist as it does with piggybacks.

So atm its too early to state the LC is flawed.

Unless you warm up your tires, then it'll hook! of course perfect with drag radials. But I manage to got it to hook when I go race at "mexico". Burns deep in your pocket of cash tho haha

Anyone know if the polished section on the lip can be repaired? I know painted sections are usually fairly easy. And if so, can anyone recommend someone in the LA area to repair it. Its fairly minor but i wanna keep my car perfect.

If your talking about the stock style 313, my dealership told me it doesnt matter where the chip or blemish is at. It has to get refinished as 1. so the whole face gotta be redone even for 1 tiny chip or blemish or whatever. thats what my dealership told me. so yeah

I scuffed my lip at a carwash and took a jewelers file to it and no one can tell except me. Just have to be patient.
