Brush your teeth. Feed the dog. Take out the trash. Once a month check your tire pressures.

Why buy a quasi sports/performance car and neglect this basic factor in handling, performance and safety?

Here's something I'd like to have clarified...

I've got TPMS on my Mazda. Often, when the temperature drops, the sensor comes on, but then goes off once the tires warm up. In that case, should I leave the tires as they are, or do they need more air?

Tires should be inflated to the specified pressure when cold.

TPMS is just a backup to reduce the risk of dangerously low pressures, it is not a maintenance system.

add the air when cold, don't just reset. then check when cold the next day.
this will give you a true reading
