Hey

Would like to get some help my car started shake got half engine light no power working like subaru, no codes, stopped engine start/stoo button and half enginw light gone. Then again accelarated with second gear boom again half engine and no power drove without procede (turned off) drove using 5th gear 100 km and rpm 2500 to france bmw center. They say it can be ecu problem. Can it belike this? Is it fault of bms filters tht not cleaned or ic pipe disconnected any clue?

u should turn CAN clear off so the codes do not get erased. Feels like missfires or fuel pump?

sometime ago I got this http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...9#post11036669 from that post I posted I drive map 0 always

P.s BMW checked hpfp and injectors they say it's fine.

Can it be that pipe from ic poped out?

no the procede is always on..

what you have to do is recreate the situation , read the codes and post them. Than search here for them.
Could be fuel pressure sensor, LPFP etc.
Than remove the procede and take it to BMW to fix it with the codes still stored in the ECU.

Open your Procede Software. Connect to your Procede in the car. Go to User Maps, then User Adjustable Parameters. Once that opens, change the option next to CANClear from 1 to 0. Click Apply, then ok. After that go out and drive to reproduce the problem. Once it occurs again, you should have codes stored that you can view. Keep in mind if you drive for a while with CANClear off you will get a Service Engine Soon light because you have Catless DP's. That is normal and not that code you need.

You have a misfire in Cylinder 2 and 5. How old are your spark plugs? If after they replace the fuel pump, you still have problems here are a couple things you can try:

Often replacing your spark plugs will fix misfires. Also, you can swap the coils from those 2 cylinders to other cylinders and see if the misfire moves with the coil. If it does, your coil is bad and you can buy 2 new coils. It could also be a leaky injector, but I would try new spark plugs first as they are the cheapest fix, and will usually take care of the problem.

The version of the Procede software you already have will work, or you can download the latest one (5.34).

fuel related issue, can be a number of things from bad injector, fuel pump, Coil or spark plugs...

you are out of warranty!!! You need to find a good Independent mechanic.
No clue how much things go for in Europe.
HPFP in the USA are covered for 10 years 100k miles or ~ 170,000 kilo meters.

Good luck, I hope it works out.

The position of the bypass valve and intake filter are of no real significance. But it's a good thing that you got a new HPFP. The new version is made by a different manufacturer and is said to be mechanically sound.

You can, it dousn't matter at all. If you want to put it the other way, it takes 2 seconds to do. Just disconnect the DV hose from the intake nipple and reposition, resecure.
