Bought HIDs--need help installing them
I have a prelci halogen e90. I bought HIDs for low beam and fog lights and I need help installing them. I am willing to pay whoever helps me completely install them ///take of bumper and lights and mount the ballasts as well as adjust bulbs to perfect height. I mainly need some tools and a partner so please let me know if you'd b willing to dedicate half a day to help. thanks
edit: in socal btw.... i mean it costs 140$ to install at a shop and that's def not worth it Last edited by TheZift; 07-23-2011 at 01:58 PM.. |

I have an idea. Why don't you buy actual xenon headlights, instead of jerry rigging xenon bulbs into halogen housing? No one wants that in their rear view mirror.

well, im thinking about just angling the headlights more towards the floor so that they wont be such a nuisance. and I was going to buy xenons, but I recently had to change some tires and got a traffic ticket so that practically took all of my xenon money. I guess i'll just wait till I amount enough money for xenons then?

To do the install on fog lights and low beams is quite easy albeit a tedious task.
A combination of 8,10, and 12mm (At most) is all you need along with your basic screw drivers if need be. BTW HID are Xenon. |

IDK, i just heard it was a hassle to get the bumper/headlight off.. also installing them into the headlight itself would take some time. It would take half a day for me and my friend...whereas if I had someone seasoned in this sort of thing it can be done within an hour or two.
