Reassembling Manifold After Starter Replacement

Ok, huge mistake on my part. I have a 2011 328i Sedan. I wanted to save money so I replaced the starter. While assembling the air manifold back together, I ran into a problem. There is a "breather hose" for the oil I believeż with three connections. One in front of the firewall directly behind the engine trim cover, that connects to 2 locations at the bottoms of the air manifold. IN ADDITION, I found a SECOND single "breather hose" with the same look and connection, but I have ZERO idea what that connects to. I can't find ANYTHING remotely resembling the male side for that connector. I reassembled everything but that, car works great. However, I now here a small "suction" sound that is cycling with the engine piston cycles I THINK. Definitely a small sound, but unsure if it's that hose that's supposed to be connected somewhere. Ive attached photos. The FB group I joined for e90s has been unresponsive to my post at all. Not a single response. Thanks for any help! It's circled in RED

2008 328i N51. I'm pretty sure it has to connect to some port around where it is sitting.

In this picture I didn't move mine. They all plugged back in. Real oem doesn't have much in terms of this specific tubing.

It certainly goes somewhere. Sure someone will know.

These two photos look pretty much alike with three breather ports. OP or Bims gotta a photo of the bottom of your intake?

The two circled in blue are for the CCV system and goto the back of the manifold. The one circled in red goes to the evap purge solenoid. And the solenoid connects to the manifold "behind" the throttle body, facing towards the front of the car.

Doesn't look like OP has that solenoid in the picture, but the second poster does...can kind of see the rubber mount by the wire harness and that why his hose curves up at a 90*.

It looks like fuel tank breather valve pipe and you disconnected the section not the one that is on the manifold but before it. See part
5 here https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=13_1034

Part 7 on that picture connects to intake manifold close to where the throttle body attaches to the manifold, as much as I can remember it. When the manifold is installed on the engine, it would be visible inside the fold from the front of the engine. You disconnected not part 7 but part 5. Part 7 must be still on the manifold.

Thank you for replying. Sorry for the late response. I thought I'd receive an email if anyone responded, but never did. So the two ports in the bottom of the manifold are circled in red, and I attached the second showing the hose connections that connects to those. I read in another response, that "3rd" breather hose, may connect to the bottom quarter of the throttle body. I'll have a look at that tomorrow as soon as I get the chance, and see if that's where she connects up to. I can hear a slight "puffing" coming from the engine compartment, so i know it's sucking air for sure, and in turn is supposed to be connected and not hanging loose like so many alternative electronic ends are. (edit. for some reason I can't attach a photo in this reply. I'll upload it to a separate response and title it as such. Thanks for your help and for replying. 👍

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of the bottom of the intake manifold.

I have N51 so my lower tube there comes up from the bottom, I never really
moved it but I can't remember where it plugged into. It was pretty straightforward though.
