Touch of Class service

So in the Bay Area at least, dealerships are offering a "Touch of Class" service. It's paint sealant, leather sealant, carpet protection package with a 5 year warranty ... no need to reapply, no special washing restrictions. Initial offer was $800, but now we're down to $300.

Anyone know if this is a good/okay deal?

Now, I'm brand new to the nice car world with zero detailing experience. While I would like to learn the skills, I feel like a little insurance while I'm learning couldn't hurt ...

I read that article earlier actually!

I remember the thread from before was about a $600 paint sealant. I wondered if the whole deal - paint, leather, carpet, plus 5 year no reapplication necessary - might be worth the $300.

Sounds like ironic at least thinks they could mess it up worse than I could ...
