Oh But its such a lovely car, please give me first dibs when it comes to 'upgrade time', hopefully I will be able to get insured on an animal like that by then!

I like to use my eBay for buying USB leads and screen protectors, but I will definitely bare that in mind, might do it as 'collection only' on there!

Thanks Mike

Have you tried contacting watchfinder and see what they offer?

To be honest what made me stop reading is the lack of a warranty card. Very unfortunate to have lost it, but I'd not buy a watch of this value and that age without it. A classic would be different but I'm wondering why there's no warranty card to be honest.

Good watch at that price though otherwise. I have a Tag Carerra S Calibre and love it to death

It'll be out of warranty so the it doesn't matter if the card is there or not. I've bought a few Rolex's, iwc's etc with missing warranty cards and its not an issue at all.

Ah if it's out then much less of an issue sure, other than proving it's not a fake but I don't think that's an issue in this instance.

A Tag Monza at a grand is a no brainer, if I was in the market for a new watch Id bite your hand off mate but I got a nice Chopard mile Miglia chrono last year to add to my Breitling and Carrera so my mrs would kill me if I even looked at another watch

Hi chaps

Thanks for all the comments.

The warranty card was with me, then I gave the watch and box to the shop to photograph and they relocated during that time and misplaced it.

I haven't asked them for a while if they have found it or not.

I can guarantee the watch is authentic.

I have a letter from Tag Heuer Head Office who inspected the watch and verified its authenticity when I acquired it. If anyone finds it to be otherwise I will provide them a full refund plus return postage immediately.

Hi

Is the watch still available? I am interested. Has the shop located the warranty card yet?

Definitely not a fake, had it verified at Tag Heuer head office by their watchmakers as their European head office/service centre is very close to my house.

I love the Mille Miglia! With that chocolate scented strap!

Also just to add warranty cards on watches like this add or take nothing away from resale value, they are blank cards that are sent to the shops and filled in at POS, the reason so much emphasis is put on Rolex's is because they come with the watch and you can never get another.
