Exclamation Flameout when shift out of gear - manual tran

SEPT.25,2011 - NEW POST / Please tell me someone knows how to fix this!

* Baught a 2008 328i / Manual tranny with 20,000 miles - still under factory warranty until FEB 2012. Drove to Daytona to get it, brought it back to Allen Texas in March 2011. Flame out started in June 2011.

* Daily Driver - 100 miles a day in DFW traffic.
* we had a record HOT Summer - 110 degrees

* Issue: - Flameout while approaching a stop light...
So Im Driving / Rev out 2/3/4th gear 5,000RPM, /push in clutch / Pull out of gear / coast towards light / RPM drops while in neutral / car flames out / dies while coasting at 40mph.

I then just pop clutch to refire the BMW, I stop at the light no other issue for at least a week.

This "flameout-while-in-neutral" has occured up to 10 times in a single day, yet it normally happens only once a week. I thought it was bad gas, or Texas Heat, but the flameout has occured with several different factors.

Possible Causes:
*RPM Idles at 550rpm (Thats LOW) after the car get up to operating temp - and when the RPMs "FREE- Fall" in between shifts / the RPM DROPS below IDLE level and Flames Out.

Factors experienced when flameout occurs:
* 110 degrees
* 80 degrees (Recent hot summer days - just cooled off)
* full tank of gas
* Half Tank of Gas
* Gas From Chevron
* Gas from Shell
* Gas From Racetrack
* Driving Down 635 in traffic
* 20 MPH U-Turn / In Gear with Clutch Pushed / ready to let clutch out
* Pulling up to a stop sign

Why not just bring it back to the dealer for warranty?

+1 ... Too many factors with flame out. Gas, electric, mechanical can all be issues or combinations. Dealership would be a good start and it should be fixed for free.
