Rich,
Where did you get the Brushed Graphite wrap? I'm looking everywhere and can't find it. I wrapped my trim in black carbon fiber vinyl (3M DINOC) and want to re-do it, as it has a few flaws that I don't like.

Rich,
The meet unfortunately never took place. I'm still open to doing interior trim if anyone wants to get together! - I got my vinyl from AVS in brushed aluminum and decided to tackle it this weekend. It didnt turn out that great but decent for a first time. If anyone is willing to help me with my trim if your local id appreciate it.

I am free this weekend and probably can fit in a couple cars for window trim wraps and some dash pieces.

I'm free tomorrow. All I need is an outlet for my heat gun. Free feel to email me if anyone wants to setup a meet RAKyaw at gmail dot com
I do have gloss but the gloss tends to bubble up so I only wrap in matte but if you truly want gloss it can be done.

Here is my updated - finally finished up my trim - I'm really happy with it and thought it turned out pretty well. I think I may do the steering wheel too but that will have to wait a little.
Two warnings for those getting ready to tackle this - - Don't try to roll the vinyl, just lay the vinyl out and press the piece on top of it, I ruined a ton of vinyl learning this. Also, start with the small pieces to get familiar and then do the larger ones (the back seat armrests are a good starting point). - The two ashtry covers come off differently, I broke my front ashtry cover so I'll have to glue it back on but the backseat cover snaps off, I did the same thing with front ashtry and it wont go back on properly - it sits okay but there is friction when trying to open and close it. If you guys ever meet, I'm happy to swing by and help where I can if I'm free. I'm no XY03, but at least you can learn from my mistakes. By superamjo By superamjo By superamjo By superamjo |

I am down to meet up sometime too - I have the CF fabric though - 2 yards - prob enough for two interiors. I probably only need 1 yard if I do it right...enter experienced people who can give advice along the way. Since the fabric needs a glue it wont be nearly as simple as the sticker vinyl I think...let me know if you guys are meeting up soon!

I saw a frosted ? (matte?) white X6M on the toll road a couple of days ago. That car looked really really nice...

anyone down to meet up sometime to do the trim? I am going to try the cf fabric i have - not the vinyl sticker everyone seems to opt for. Would love to compare the results and also learn from mistakes everyone already made

What roof wrap would look good on jet black paint though?
