Glad I am not the only who was thinking it. Wether it's a kit, not a kit, mountain of gold, or a pile of dog $hi7... let the man get back to work so we can see what these puppies can do!

We have prototypes almost ready that fill this void between stage 2 and 3 that will be tested in the next 2 weeks. We will make an announcement if and when they perform as we hope.
Okay so basically, a hybrid designed with a stock sized flange is never going to produce the top end performance that a "properly" sized twin setup will. I assume that the "stage 2.5" setup you are working on will require new manifolds/downpipes?

I cannot provide details of the middle of the road hybrids but they address the exhaust bottle neck and other areas.

Sorry if this was already asked, but what kind of numbers are you expecting from your stage 3?

On one of the threads he posted the Stage 3 options and the biggest one looked like each turbo would be good for about 40lb/min. That would be enough to rock 3 liters pretty hard if you could fuel it and nothing broke. Almost double the capacity of the stock turbos.

The stage 2's seem like such an amazing option! I cant wait! I would like to get the stage 3's but have a feeling they're going to be out of my price range.

Stage 2

So is there anything else you have to or should by when replacing the turbos? Or do you R2 the turbos and thats it? I am specifically talking about stage 2.

That's fine. This is pretty much all I wanted to know. The stage 2.5 setup is going to rock hard. I'd imagine a rather significant transition to high RPM output that we are not currently seeing.

I expect to see the N54 being stuffed into some rather capable chassis in the next few years. I really wish I had a 1m to tune, right now.

Doesn't the 335i have the same manual transmission that the M3, M5 and M6 have?

Can the injectors fuel the engine fast enough to handle that much air?

I think it's more of a volume over time versus latency that actually matters.

And the answer is yes.

The OEM injectors are rated to 2100cc IIRC

Hmmm, I'm not familiar with such ratings. I usually see injectors rated in pounds per unit time. I think this is what Sered was getting at (Is that correct Sered?).

And yeah, I wasn't referring to latency of the injector control system. It was the ability to flow.

Can the HPFP handle this?

God, I wish I had a 1m to put a stage 2.5 kit in.

2100CCs is A LOT of fuel. Roughly equal to 200lbs/hour. I highly doubt the HPFP will be able to keep up.

Is there any such thing as an aftermarket HPFP that will flow more at the pressures we see?

If so, I'd bet people would swap to it just for reliability ...
