as a e90 335 xi owner with a lease up in July i was looking forward to buying a new coupe and IMO pre-lci has it all over the new one. for me it has lost it's sexy look

not saying that there are not some nice looking elements of the new car just over all does not work for me.

LCI is certainly not as good looking as the original. I much prefer the original e90.

+1. They really screwed up the front with that ugly ass lower grill and its horizontal grey fins. They look horrible. Glad I have an '08.

Does anyone like the huge, ugly, non-sporty side mirrors??? To me, that's a deal breaker right there. The pre-LCI side mirrors look so much sportier. the new ones look squarish and while they might comply with dumb EU safety standards, they aren't stylish at all. If future BMW "sport" cars continue to have these mirrors, it will be a real shame. Let's hope the M cars won't adopt them.

Do you think we are going to be able to install the new taillights on pre-facelift models? Are they the same shape with the old ones? It looks like the are but if someone with a more experienced eye can see a difference in shape please let us know.

The only thing that I can say is a "real" improvment is the rear bumper. The front bumper is really terrible. So not aggressive.

+1. What are those things? They have some depth so they are like an a little wing. Worst feature of the of the LCI IMHO. Even if they were in black where they would be less noticeable, I wouldn't want it. I'm neutral on the kidney grills and new headlights, The side and rear look slightly better. Don't like the bigger side mirrors, though. Overall, if I had a choice, I'd stick with pre-LCI.

I think the front is a mess, the rear bumper is a bit of a mess and the side is just...Okay. The tail lights are at least somewhat decent...

I think after seeing the LCI E92 I would opt for a new 5 series before I opted for the LCI E92 now. Thanks to BMW screwing up the E92 I am now even more happy with my 09 Pre-LCI.
