Acronyms

I'm completely off topic here but this seems to be where most are located. This, probably all, forum needs an acronym sticky. There are just too many and I can't do it as my knowledge of the alphabet isn't even up to the old Hawaiian alphabet of thirteen letters (or 12 depending on who you ask). I've had BMW's since my 1972 2002Tii but this forum really makes a person feel even older and kinda stupid. I find myself constantly having to open another tab and doing a search. Not complaining as I think all of the innovations that have come out are great and the acronyms are needed to save time but a sticky would make reading so much easier.
If someone wants to move this then please, be my guest. I just thought if someone had the time and knowledge to do this it would really come in handy for the newbie. Like myself. Please don't hate me.

List some of the ones that you're having trouble with -- Be a lot easier to do it this way then just think of every possible acronym that's out there

If you go into a thread that discusses anything remotely close to which tune should i buy/is better/faster....than the only acronyms you need to know are (this applies to most car forums):

FTW - for the win
FTL - for the loss
fanboi (not an acronym, but equally as important to know) - overzealous proponet of a tune

So sorry, wouldn't dream of it. There's also NAMBLA. Never went to any of the meetings. Probably a good thing.
