Car Wash Recommendations

Basically I'm looking for either one of these options either in the Fairfax or Alexandria/Franconia area.

1. Completely touchless rail-less laser wash or...
2. 100% hand wash (preferably under $30)

Who knows of anything like this?

I'll start off with 2 places I know.

Pro-Clean of Tysons Corner - 100% hand wash
1524-V Springhill Road
Tysons Corner, VA 22102
703-448-1001

Sunoco - laser wash

I just use it to wash salt off during the winter. It doesn't really wash off dirt and grim if there's any built up. So prolly not what you're looking for.

The Shell station at on Franconia by Rose Hill isn't too bad (just of Van Dorn). I use it during the winters.

I had the same problem since I can't get on the rails at most car washes and my roof is wrapped CF so I didn't want to risk tearing that.

I just use Griotts Garage waterless car wash and then a speed shine after - it is faster and looks much better than anything your going to pay for -

For $12...can't beat it if you're in the area. Got all the salt/winter crap off around my car. Water pressure's really strong... even shook my car a little bit. Only thing is, next time I think I will spray my wheels with some cleaner and then go in.

went through the sunoco wash this weekend, my car fit with no issues(its slammed), and it was well worth the 10 or 12 bucks or whatever it was.

Hate to revive such an old thread, but I suppose it's better than starting a new one!

Is the Sunoco Laser wash touchless?

Anyone have more suggestions for a good car wash (preferably touchless) around Fairfax Station/Burke? Mom's now driving the old E90 and she can't bring herself to go to any random car wash after watching me painstakingly detail the car by hand in the dead of winter during my ownership, haha.

I'm in Burke and there's one up the street from me. Not the best but it'll knock the dirt off. Good way to keep the car clean in between details.

Thanks for the info but I need a little more information than "up the street from you". Haha -- and is it a touchless?

I got fed up with these touchless car washes that doesn't really wash my car clean and still leaves my wheels dirty. I wanna find someone that will hand wash my car from now on.

Here's the worst part... I go there at least once a month and I cannot remember the name for the life of me - I'll check it out tomorrow. It is indeed touchless.

Also - are you in NoVA or CT?

I'm in CT now but my parents live in NoVA and my mom drives my old e90. I'd appreciate it if you could look into it and get back to me -- Burke would be a much easier haul for her than laser wash in Centreville.

Small world. I'm from new haven now living in nova. The place is called express stop. Part of a very busy gas station. It's a touchless wash and I usually just do the basic soak / wash / rinse for like $6. Can't go wrong.

Hopefully this is what you're looking for!

+1 would be pretty sweet if I could get the car washed quickly during lunch or something along those lines.
