Hi guys,

I've been getting a little overwhelmed with all of the information in this forum, but I'm trying to come up with a decent setup for my 2007 e92 with hifi system . I'm not looking for crazy bass or anything, just high quality audio where I can hear the details and appreciate the music like I do with my home theatre and headphones.

I was thinking of replacing the speakers and tweeters in the front and back with Rainbow SLC 210.25 NG because they fit, and are supposed to be decent?

Also looking at an XD600/6 amp because it's an easy plug and play fit and a good amp.

Do I need to replace the under seats too you think? I think the system has plenty of bass already.

Is this an alright path or should I do something else? I'd rather not spend more than $1000

I'd skip replacing the back speakers for now
Get the xd600/6 and technics harness
Plus the speakers for the front
If you have money left over, I'd replace the underseats with the sws-8
You're going to increase the wattage on all speakers
OEM hifi subs can't take that much power
Plus the sws-8 sound great

Thanks, only thing is that the rears are making a crackling sound every once in a while which really annoys me.

Any thoughts on BSW , maybe even with the xd600/6?

I like the bsw a lot, the whole kit is about 520 I think
But for rear duty, I'd pick up a set of used logic 7 speakers
There is a pair on eBay now for 100

I have the slc 210.25. I like them a lot for the price point.
