You absolutely need sound deadening. The doors will need a speaker pack each and the boot will need a trunk kit. The more sound deadening you have in the boot floor, rear quarters and bootlid the more bass will come toward you and not out via a rattly numberplate and in to nothing.
I would suggest two speaker kits (£15 each), a wedge pack (£130 for the whole boot), dynaliner to help eliminate rattles, and a few spare sheets for inner skins etc. Look to spend a good couple hundred if going the Dynamat Xtreme route all in. You could look at other manufacturers such as brownbread who are roughly the price and allegedly just as good

So nothing major but had my brake discs and pads all round replaced and the calipers + hubs painted to match body - totally love the look! A simple yet effective mod! Say goodbye to Rusty hubs!!
Had the car raised too to beat the crappy weather we're in for over winter.. Soon as I pick my new rims up I'll work out the offset / tyres I want for that stance I'm aiming for, then I'll play around with the height and damper settings to finally get it right. Can't wait Meanwhile, Audio is still on hold until my installer can free himself up. He is overly booked up so hopefully I can keep my patience intact, otherwise may have to look around lol. |

Can Say 110% that Rials are 2 piece, well, I'm not sure about which models are or aren't but the ones I have, Rial Daytona are 2 piece as we've taken off the bolts and split them to have them fully refurbed and have new nuts and bolts ordered from Germany, which alone costs the best part of £200 !! LOL.

Right so another bit of update but no eye candy sadly... am looking into a Remap now as it's been 5 months since I owned her. Still amazes me just how responsive she is, STILL puts a smile on my face and its effortless.
My audio is still on hold until the installer can free up some time. TBH, I would rather wait this while and he be dedicated on my car than to get it in for a couple of days and do a bosh job lol - even though bosh doesn't exist on Custom Car's vocabulary.. (see M3 cutters / Evo T for examples of his work). Bought the Performance Handbrake + Gaitor and Perf Auto Knob, decided to return the Handbrake gaitor/cover as it's brushed silver and it didn't look right with my high gloss black trim. About Remapping, is it best I get the red boost pipe/hose dealt with first (as it is pretty much black from being covered in oil through time) before the map or does it not matter much given I've not experienced any power loss touch wood.. Gonna also get a couple of small bits and bobs done including coding to hear the chirp and fold mirrors with fob. The plan is this.. to get the new rims put on spring time next year with some brand new stretched tires, Aero Lip, M sport Side skirts and hopefully an M Sport rear Bumper with a Perf Rear Diffuser. It's all about stance on this beaut so watch this space..It's gonna be showtime thereafter! Sam |

I've just had my remap done before the red hose..... Going to get it done soon though along with the vacuum hoses - seems sensible with more boost.

I've been waiting for my installers delivery to come through, which has this week So fingers crossed i should hopefully have the helix, 4 ch amp, dls amp and a 12" sub through the arm rest all fitted by the end of the week. Can you believe i've only had rear stock speakers playing for nearly 2 months? The upgrade is probably going to sound out of this world as im used to the rears now lol |

Well I've picked up my new rims off Dips at Custom Cars this evening and also made my way to pick up a cheeky M sport rear bumper, already in Titanium Silver and that too in VCG so no respray required Really chuffed.
Booking in my remap after Audio is sorted.. which WILL be done by mid january latest. If I feel upto it I'll drop off my car tomorrow to Custom Cars but as it stands, the fever and cold can't be shaken off yet. Plans for audio are in place so a matter of really getting the car to him.
