Paperwork from M57 US Software Update (Campaign 10013130200)

Hi:

Had my US 335d in for service for the first time ever. I was able to snap some photos of the paperwork printed from the update computer used to update the software in my car.

As a tech guy, I'm was naturally curious and thought others might be here as well. Small images below. Hi-rez versions are available on my gallery.

Some observations:
  • I haven't noticed a change in fuel economy.
  • I was amazed at the number of software updates for the other modules in my car.
  • I lost some of the coding I had done on my car- auto unlock at ignition turn off, video in motion, legal disclaimer on, etc.
  • No other differences were detected.

Time for some more miles...

-Ed

Interesting. I dropped mine off yesterday for 25K inspection and my service advisor said there was a software update for mine as well. I'll find out tomorrow what was changed.

I just had this software update applied to my car, and I feel like the throttle response is different. I would say it's less responsive.

Tomorrow I should get a chance to do some more driving and I will be able to tell how different.

Also what we really need to get our hands on is the PDF the SA's have about this campaign, I saw the SA open it and when I asked for a copy he said he wasn't allowed to give it to me.

Is this optional? I don't go to the dealer anymore. When was it released?
