For some reason I can't get a clean shot of it, they all come out showing it as black

can't see the CF that good.

Best thing I could suggest is to pull them into something like photoshop and play with the levels a bit till it brings out the CF. Or if you have an Apple, you can use iPhoto even to do it's "Enhance" magic clean up tool which normally does the same...

I know, it's very difficult to photograph carbon fibre because of the dark colour and the reflective gloss surface.

Alternatively, send them to me and I'll try clean them up and then post them

e92 will hopefully start development soon. No quads as of yet, but those should come soon'ish too

All depends on where he will need to ship, I shipped straight from him to Virginia and it didn't take long at all. Sorry I can't remember how much it was, best to get a quote from him for exact with shipping. But I will say that his price for quality is better than what I could have got here in the America from the ones on the market here!!
