Hi!
I am a new owner of a 328x 2010 with 2010
it has 68k kms, jet black and saddle brown leather, black inserts, xenons and premium package.

I have a question regarding the wheel specs.

i have style 284 wheels. Can anyone tell what is the offset of these wheels and what spacers i should look for to make the wheels flush with the car.

Thanks in advance.

What is that electronic box with asian characters taped to the right side of your center console?
It's the optical beacon thingy for highway tolls so I don't need to pay cash and lean over the whole car because my steering wheel is on the wrong side

Plugged in battery... Engine started, revved it a little, drove it in the garage, all check engine lights are ok.... put the car back out of remisage on saaq.com. Now need to wait for the 23rd when insurance kicks back on.

Need to look into new tires now.

I was considering putting an iPad mini in there (seeing as I have a history of putting car PCs into my cars going back to ....... like 2004), but in Japan, it's impossible to drive with Google Maps, so a real navi went in. Dash is still mostly open because I still have to run HDMI and AUX wiring...

Don't know what to do ... car is absolutely stock on the one hand, which has a certain beauty to it. But ........ I CANNOT STAND THESE WHEELS. I also can't stand the complete lack of personality in the exhaust. I don't think it needs a drop, at least for now, so I will probably not switch the suspension......... unless I see a great deal on some KWv3s, my only approved suspension for any car from now on. But wheels and exhaust have to be replaced, I feel.
Congrats Glen, nice car. RWD finally got ya, ha ha! Ok, since everyone is getting a P Car, I think I'll go order the Cayman GT4

Nah........too poor!

Bravo

Glen and Tony, congrats indeed on cheating the B with a P - the only way to cheat if cheat one must.

This winter has been brutal indeed. Have not been skiing once. N.O.T. O.N.C.E. Too bleedin' kalt

On a brighter note, my RWD 335 has restored my faith in RWD in winter. New winter tires of course have helped.

Once you finish with your dash mod Glen, you can get to the cosolemod and put a little stick that wiggles between the front seats - may require addition of third pedal for it to work. I am told it makes the car more fun

Maybe no one here has an answer for your question.

You should search or post in the wheels and tire section

Welcome to our once very busy thread...

too bleedin' kalt? poor excuse. I have gone many times this year and only once was it colder than -20C. Albeit I did ski mostly on weekdays.

I'm not sure how many of us are rim experts here. The only thing I can say is avoid wheel spacers at all costs. I suffered vibrations that eventually sheered off three of my five lug nuts within a few minutes. A few more kilometers and I'm sure I would have lost a wheel.

Welcome aboard.

Some of the realities of married with kids life :

-cannot ski with the family during the week, and it was really Kant every single weekend
-there shall be no skiing permitted if the outside temp is colder than -10 without the wind, as the kids shall complain of being cold and the male of the family shall be severely scolded

Therefore no skiing.

But like I said I actually had fun not sliding with my car

Agreed. I found answers to most of my tire wheel questions on that particular sub thread of this site.
