Mstyle did my 1M bumper...was the 1st one done

Did a fantastic job with that bumper. In fact, thumbs up to Mstyle for doing most of the work on my car, including respraying the front end 2 or 3 times due to stone chips and always doing an awesome job of it as Brilliant White Metallic is a very hard colour to get right!

Yup mstyle did mine too. First e92 non M to have the 1m installed.
It was horrible fitment and they refitted and resprayed multiple times to get the perfect fitment.

I was there from 16:30 to 21:45 so had to leave in the end, sorry if I didn't spend as long chatting to everyone but it was bloody cold outside! Thought you chaps would give up and come in

Ended up talking to beemarman for about 2 hours (great to catch up fella! )

Still very much like the Terminator lenses Josh.

Thanks for compliments. I can't wait to finish it off and shut the bloody exhaust up though.

This was the android install that I was talking about. He also has a USB webcam so that he can mount it to his car and record bits and bobs.

I would like to have access to more media in the car and this looks interesting and relatively cheap compared to a Dension 500. The biggest advantage is that you can tether the android to your phone's 3G!

I was thinking hard about it, and although I would like a built in system, I think it would be easier for me to duplicate my phones screen onto the idrive, then use a Bluetooth receiver, for the sound through the aux.

Do you know what I would need to have this work?

Hi chap,

At the moment I have absolutely no idea. I'm hoping to spend some time researching the whole thing over the next few weeks.

I also have a long list of things I would like to do to my car, so I guess a priority list is required.

I will let you know once I get around to the Android bits.

Not sure if you can connect your phone to the screen although its probably possible. The guy on the link has a separate install of android on a USB stick and that's what he has going to his screen.

Either way, time to do some research and see what we come up with.
