When you reach the next oil chnage after 186,000 miles the oil life monitor stops working. BMW tells you then to start changing the oil at 7,500 mile intervals. So I've gone to 10K OCIs

Oh nice! I still think I have you beat. Mine is a 2011 with about 17k now so on average it's one of the lowest I know of. I also bought it with super low mileage so that helps! Yay for super low mileage, but I'll be keeping till the mileage racks up plenty!

when i drove it everyday i was putting on about 100 a day.. LONG commute. Now i drive it once a week or so.

I am usually 100-200 per week day and very little on the weekends.

Oh wow, I went to from driving 5 miles to 60 miles a day with my new job. Seems like everyone is just about driving the same, so I don't feel that bad anymore.

Hell, I drive roughly 80-90 miles a day. Id say 85-90% highway. Thankfully my Beemers low-tech so I haven't had a shit ton of mechanical issues that are out of the ordinary. Just broke 126K miles.
