Need help deciding on color of wheels.
I have a 08 328i Sedan in jet black and I am getting the V710 wheels. Not sure if I should get silver, black or gun metal and I can't decide. I like silver because it compliments the lines but then again the black looks good too. What are your guys opinions. I have black grills and everything else is black on the car. Cheers.

I am old school about wheels and would almost always go with silver. But both of the those pictures look very good. Around here (Philadelphia area), cars get dirty fast and black wheels end up looking the same color as the tires and it looks like you have not cleaned off the brake dust in years. Maybe in AZ, where you can keep the car clean, this might not happen. But I would still go with silver.

For jet black, go with gunmetal- this is coming from a guy who has a set of factory OEM gloss black 19 inch 199 wheels normally for summer.

Contrast is key. Not too much, not too little.
Gunmetal on black. You won't regret it. Black wheels on a black car is just a black blob rolling down the road. |

Funny. No matter what we say, it probably won't affect your decision. It's so subjective. Personally, I like some contrast between the car and wheels so I would say gunmetal or silver. That first link that you posted of the sweet black E92 with black VMRs is Neema's car and he later changed to gunmetal BBS CH-Rs.

I hate black wheels, I feel like you can never actually see the design of the wheel, especially with a silver lip they look even worse.
Gun metal if you're looking for more of a race look. Silver if you're looking for more of a clean looking car. Just depends what type of look you're going with the car. |

Why not go right out there and do something very different and unique.
im on the hunt for a second set of wheels which i will be painting cream to match the interior. will be a love or hate but its different and cream is hardly ever done. apart from one member on here i have seen with cream wheels sadly ! but ONE member out of 100s with black / gunmetal / silver / ferric gray etc etc
