not necessarily... it could be junk glass but again 90% of the photos is the user... only 10% is the equipment used. I've seen some DAMN nice photos taken with a low end point and shoot.

Yeah I'm were but having a longer lens means I can take pics of things more than 15 feet away from me so more photo opportunities than with the wide angle I have now

true but honestly I think better photos are taken closer to the subjects... better depth of field.

I'm saying that with the limited photo taking spots that they give you at autox a long lens is an advantage because I can take pictures of far away cars you know?
