Wow, that seems really high. My 335xi came in at a 49k invoice and I pay $659/mo for 10k/year and 36 months. $0 down, no credits, and $0 in MSDs. First month was all that was due at signing plus doc fees.

You think??? My invoice is higher than yours at $51,915 (including MACO). I believes every $1k will affect the monthly rate by about $30/month. Also, your leased is only for 10k/year. If I bumped my lease down to 10k/year, my monthly payment would be $617 and if you take into account the $2k differences in pricing, the monthly amount would drop further to $557 per month. My initial payments is high due to me buying down the MSD. I will get the $4900 dollars back at the end of the lease. Let me know if you think my calculation are off cause I have not officially signed the paperworks yet.

Hey Red,

You have a good deal. The comment made was made without any justification or evidence. You did your homework, laid down MSD's to lower MF etc. Your deal is very similar to mine. Some folks don't know about MSDs and that you get the money back after the lease is up which can throw them off.

Is that your phone ringing???

I know about the MSDs, and they are the best way to lower the price on the lease. It's true that the lower residual for the 15k mi/yr to 10k mi/yr will account for most of the difference.

Thanks 67R60 and arisochmann for your comments. This is what I like about forums like this. Gives consumer another avenues for research and to see what the market rate is for car.

67R60,

Yes, my phone did ring this morning. I will be picking up my car tomorrow. It tooks less than a week (6 days to be exact) from when the cargo ship docked in San Diego to get the car up to WA state. Now, the count down begins for your car

Red! It is actually happening for you. Nice! Congrats! BMW probably wants to post a strong Q1 so they expedited deliveries .

You have to read the fine print on the adverstised lease special. It is safe to assume that large part of the down payment will go to reduce your net cap cost (basically downpayment on your car). That is why they are able to quote such a low monthly payment. The first rule to leasing or buying a car is to negotiate the price of the car. Everything else will fall into place after that. When I go in to buy a car, I never tell the CA I'm leasing, financing, or paying cash until there is an agreement on the price of the car. Hope this help you.
